This was an okay children's book。 Here is the break-down:Pros:- It has nice absurdist humor which I like， in the vein of SpongeBob or Ren & Stimpy。- It's very imaginative without resorting to toilet-humour。Cons:- I really miss a central plot in this book。 It is there （writing a new book） but it's very thin。 Now it is just a series of random events that string together。 - the drawings are okay but could be better。 Often they are messy and it's hard to distinguish what is happening on the page。 I This was an okay children's book。 Here is the break-down:Pros:- It has nice absurdist humor which I like， in the vein of SpongeBob or Ren & Stimpy。- It's very imaginative without resorting to toilet-humour。Cons:- I really miss a central plot in this book。 It is there （writing a new book） but it's very thin。 Now it is just a series of random events that string together。 - the drawings are okay but could be better。 Often they are messy and it's hard to distinguish what is happening on the page。 I understand it has to look like a child drew this， but now it just looks really off。- It is a lazy book。 Pages and drawings are repeated for comedic effect but it feels like they were trying to pad the book out。 I'm curious if part two improves。 Of course I am not the intended demographic and these books are very popular so what do I know。 ;） 。。。more

The story starts talking about their 13 story treehouse and all the rooms that they have and all the activities that you can do。Andy and Terry are the people that are in the book and they write books too。So it starts of with Andy making an experiment with a cat and he was trying to make it fly but the cat was his friends cat。So he put the cat to the task let if off the roof and it flew away so now he lost his friends cat but of a sudden the owner of the at and there friends knocks on the door an The story starts talking about their 13 story treehouse and all the rooms that they have and all the activities that you can do。Andy and Terry are the people that are in the book and they write books too。So it starts of with Andy making an experiment with a cat and he was trying to make it fly but the cat was his friends cat。So he put the cat to the task let if off the roof and it flew away so now he lost his friends cat but of a sudden the owner of the at and there friends knocks on the door and she ask them some questions and one of the q questions was do you know where my cat is but they said no that they didn't know where the cat was so she left but they got a call on there giant tv and it was there boss and he has a giant nose so he asks them where there book is that they were supposed to write but they tell him that they forgot so he got mad and they have till tomorrow at 5pm to get it to his desk so he hangs up because he's mad at andy and terry look at eachother and run to their table to get started but minutes go by and they cant of anything to write and draw but there's a ring at the door and it's the mailman and he has a package for andy so Andy runs down there and grabs it and he runs back up stairs and opens his package and the package was sea monkeys so he puts them in the bathtub and what comes out is a mermaid and Andy fell in love right away with her and they are gonna go to the sea with each other and Andy ran to go tell Terry but Terry was hiding behind the bathroom door and he saw the mermaid turn into a scary sea creature so he runs out of the bathroom without her seeing him and he goes and finds Andy and Terry tells Andy but then she came up behind them as the sea monster so she tries to eat them but they run away to the science lab and when she got down there they used a shrink ray to shrink her and flushed her down the toilet。So they go back and try to write there book but all of a sudden they hear a ring at the door and its the mail man again and a package for Andy again so he runs down and gets it and runs back up and opens the package and it’s another thing of sea monkeys so he took them out and all of a sudden they turned into monkeys so they used a banana launcher to get them out of the treehouse but then something was shaking the treehouse so they looked and it was a gorilla so he climbed up the treehouse and went up to the deck where Andy and Terry were and the gorilla started to walk towards them but all of the sudden there’s a Hurd of flying cats so they pick the gorilla up and bring him to an island。So Andy and Terry go back to writing there book and all of a sudden they got an idea about a super thumb so they get it done but it’s almost five o’clock but there friend and her cat cat bring them so they fly into there bosses office and out the book and his desk the end。 。。。more

Juliana read this book all by herself in 2nd grade she says it was pretty good。 The funny part was that Terry said he could turn a cat into a canary。 Jill found out at the end of the book that it was her cat。 She had always wanted a canary。

Dit boek mocht ik lenen van mijn metekindje om te lezen。 Het is een grappig boek en lijkt me erg vlot om te lezen。 Ik zou het persoonlijk op die leeftijd iets te veel prenten en te weinig tekst hebben gevonden。 Ik kan wel begrijpen dat dit het een ideaal boek is voor kinderen die niet graag niet lezen。 Ik zou er zelf op die leeftijd al niet meer zoveel aan hebben gevonden。
